Lap Steel Bass????

Now some of you may be wondering what a lap steel bass actually is or looks like and to be honest im not sure if thats what it is even called although i have named it the lap steel bass because it works on the same principle as a lap steel guitar.

Edit: Oh By the way thats a 12 string bass too
